Send us an e-mail to schedule a windsurfing lesson at Alamitos Bay/Belmont Shore, Long Beach, California.

We will teach up to 3 students at a time, and the price is discounted for each additional student.

A 3-hour beginning windsurfing lesson is only $150 for one student, $120 for each student of two, or $90 for each student of three. This includes top quality gear, rigged for you:

a 200 liter 2005 Fanatic Viper L
or a 220 liter 2004 Mistral N.Trance XL
a light 4.2 m 2005 Sailworks Ripper 2 rig.
or a powerful 5.0 m 2007 KA Kaos rig.

If you haven't yet tried this more recent windsurfing gear, you might be amazed at how comfortable and easy it is to use.

Intermediate windsurfing lessons are $50 per hour for one student, $40 per hour for each student of two, or $30 per hour for each student of three. You can use your own gear or the same gear listed above, but a 2-hour minimum is required to use our gear. Lesson choices include: rigging, beach start, pivot jibe, using a harness, lee-side sailing, and any of the light-wind freestyle moves shown here. If there is enough wind (13 knots or higher) you can choose to learn how to waterstart in the bay or learn ocean sailing on the Belmont Shore side including: launching through the shore break, planing, using the foot straps, chop-hop, and jibing.
